About This Seminar

Dr. Vida Awinime Bugri is an academic researcher whose work examines STEM education systems in Africa, with particular attention to gender equity, women leadership, and AI. Her scholarship includes studies on higher education, gender inclusion in STEM, and the educational implications of emerging technologies. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the American Journal of STEM Education. Beyond academia, she is the founder of Eduvision, an organisation working to expand opportunities for girls in STEM across Ghana. She is also the co-founder of Wi-STEM Africa. Dr Bugri has shared her research and on various international platforms such as UNESCO and European parliament. Her recent work explores how AI can support stronger teaching and learning in African contexts.
