Implementing Knowledge Management in Organisations – Lessons Learnt from 200 Projects

Over a period of a decade, the then Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre (KMIRC) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University had carried out close to 200 KM projects in Hong Kong and southern parts of mainland China. The types and nature of these projects are summarised as well as observations and lessons learnt, classified into technical, non-technical categories are being shared. Of particular interests are common foci of organisations starting KM versus those are well into their KM journey, as well as the theory-practice gaps when it comes to KM implementation. Participants are especially encouraged to contribute to the discussions to further enrich the value of the sharing."
